June 2007 I go to see my favorite Faith Hill. Guess who is the opening act?
Taylor! She sang 5 songs and I know her true fans can name them because they are the singles from Taylor Swift.
So I thought cool. I will try and get her autograph. But I was too late. She left during Faith's show which I could not miss.
Then I went to see her open for Brad Paisley and Rodney Atkins. I waited until Brad's show was over to find Taylor and I was too late again.
On my 3rd try I went to see a Taylor concert at my college. Love and Theft opened for her. She stayed after and signed for everyone on stage!
Jason took our picture. She liked my bracelet so I gave it to her. I played my Teardrops ringtone for her. She signed my friend's tee shirt! I think there were about 2 guys there including me and 100 girls. ha
On my 4th try I was too late getting to her in the parking lot. She had been signing after a show @ Western Michigan and it was getting cold. But I found Andrea and gave her a supper glossy picture of me with Taylor. I wrote a letter to Taylor too. Andrea gave me some guitar pics and a hug and thanked me for the cool picture.
On my 5th try I took off work and missed the biggest meeting of the year to go see Taylor headline at a county fair. I waited outside for her for an hour and she only came out to sign 1 autograph for a girl. I was trying to get her to do a video for my little sister's birthday.
To recap, at this point I am very sad as I am 1 for 5 on meeting Taylor.
A month later she comes to my home town to open for Rascal Flatts.
I see that her bus is in the parking lot across from the tunnel and there are about 20 girls waiting for her. So Taylor comes and talks to us. I can't get to her but her mom was off to the side. I told her about my sister and gave her the letter my sister wrote. She said that my sister was extremely cute and she also pointed out that I looked familiar. I told her we met many months ago in Kalamazoo. She asked me for my phone number and 2 days later Jason called with meet and greets for me and my sister. I was so excited but I didn't get to meet Taylor.
So while she was singing Picture to Burn, I went back to the spot I met her mom in and she came out and walked right by me. Her mom saw me and she called to her to come back and talk. Her mom is the best!
She signed the Blender magazine for my brother! I told her how much I loved Teardrops On My Guitar. Surprisingly I was the only person out there.
On the 7th concert, I took my sister to Chicago country music festival to see Lost Trailers. We met Ryder Lee! He signed a Vitamin Water bottle (kids, do not ever drink vitamin water, it is essentially filtered water and they took out the sugar and put poisonous sugar in it). Then we met Taylor Swift! Omg, my sister forgot her name. But she wrote it down and gave it to Taylor. How sweet. In front of us was a girl in a Taylor Swift Halloween costume. Taylor flipped! She took a video and put it on MySpace.
On the 8th concert which was 5 weeks after concert 6, I met Taylor in Grand Rapids. I read her the letter that my sister wrote. Taylor remembered me this time since it was the 3rd time in 5 weeks talking to her. She signed a CD for my friend so I could give it to her as a birthday present.
On my 9th concert I was unable to find Taylor but Bobby found me and he told me I couldn't wait in the parking lot. I was banned until the concert started. I said that was cool because I was on vacation and did not want to miss the concert.
On the 10th concert, a cool gift was sent my way (4 free tickets to Keith Urban and Taylor Swift) I took my mom to meet Taylor's mom. It was sweet. I thanked Taylor's mom for the meet and greet passes. I showed Taylor a cool picture of her wearing my bracelet that I gave her from our 1st meeting. We made the <3 symbol for the picture. It was cool. This is my only time meeting Taylor after the new management was in place.
For the 11th concert, Taylor walked right by me in the hall way and did not recognize me because I shaved my head for work (movie extra).
Darn!
For my 12th concert I did not have meet and greet passes and I promised my sister she would meet her. Aw. Taylor Lautner was using up all of her free time. So I took my sister to meet Gloriana. She was very excited to meet cheyenne and Rachel. Gloriana signed my arm and a picture for my cousin's birthday.
So that's it. 12 concerts. 5 meetings.

On December 4th Taylor Swift admitted on the Jay Leno Show that she saw a ghost at camp when she was ten years old. Could she be telling a true story or practicing her awesome acting skills for the sequel to Sixth Sense?

Taylor: 10 years old I was at sleep away camp. I saw a ghost standing over a girl.
The next morning I told everyone and the girls were crying because they thought the girl was possessed and everyone thought I was a drama queen.

Taylor: 13. Born on December 13.
Jay: The last chore you did @ your parents house.
Taylor: Helped mom put up the 15' Christmas tree. A giant, giant Christmas tree.
Jay: What's your worst gig ever?
Taylor: When I was 13 I played an acoustic show at a bar at a rock festival. I was standing on stage. The guitar was bigger than me. "This is a song that I wrote about a boy in my class" and a guy with a beer yelled "Take your shirt off."
Jay: Ever bought anything off the tv?
Taylor: Yes. When I was 12 my hair wouldn't be curly or straight. It was just frizzy.
I bought hair curlers that were leopard print. I was so stoked when I got those in the mail. It was a party at my house when I got those in the mail.

NBC's People of the Year
Taylor Swift is among the year's newsmakers. Hosted by Matt Lauer, the show airs on Thanksgiving night @ 9 pm ET. This year Taylor has been on SNL, won CMA Entertainer of the Year and produced her first major headlining tour with Gloriana and her best friend Kellie Pickler as the opening act.

Band Hero
I bought Band Hero just so I could enter the contest to win Taylor Swift.
I won a contest to meet her in 2009. What are the odds that I can do it back to back years?
Picture To Burn is tough on expert. I failed on it 2 times in a row before moving down to hard. Then I beat it @ 92%
She also sings Love Story and You Belong With Me.
I haven't figured out yet how to be Taylor in the game.

Fearless Tour 2010
If you missed Taylor Swift in 2009 or if you would like an encore, then you're in luck.
Starting in Brisbane February 4, 2010 Taylor will play 5 shows in Australia, then 30 shows in
North America. Kellie Pickler and Gloriana return as opening acts.
The U.S. tour ends Sunday in Minneapolis. She'll be in London November 23 and Manchester November 24.
